Demoscene is a computer art subculture that specialises in producing demos,
which are non-interactive audio-visual presentations run real-time on a
computer. Programmers and artists show off their skills in graphics,
algorithmic programming, computer generated graphics and music, stretching
current computer hardware to its edge, often even further. For this first
screening Paul Grenfell of Denki has selected some of the best demoscene
examples from across the globe.

Demos scene

I remeber watching a demo years ago and being mesmerized by it. I still have it somewhere on a CDrom. Fantastic music, smooth flowing frame and astounding graphics. If anyone has seen it before it was some beetljuice type characters in a haunted house. It was uisng open GL when it was first invented.
