About The Linux Society - thelinuxsociety.org.uk
The Abertay Linux Society was started to fill the void of regular meetings for Linux users in Dundee. It's membership is split between students and non-students, and everyone is welcome to join, regardless of university attendance. Our ties with the Tayside LUG (Linux User Group) are very strong indeed and most of our members are members of TayLUG as well. You don't have to have any Linux experience at all to come to one of our Bi-weekly meetings and you will find plenty of people who enjoy helping people understand how Linux works.
