I'd like to choose others as well

I actually use several different distributions

but Ubuntu is the main desktop

SLES 8/9/10are the main server ones

I am a Multi-Distro Man

Fedora is my default but I also run Linux Mint, openSuSE, Mandriva, PCLinux, Saboyan, Xandros & Windows XP (for the wife's work documents) in their own partitions and boot via GAG boot manager. Plus I have many in virtual machines in my Fedora partition, probably because I am just curious about different distros.

Ubuntu

Have been using Ubuntu for the 6 months or so I've used linux , its nice an user freindly. I'll maybe explore a bit more at some point but Ubuntu works well for me right now.

I have used, or at least tried most things and switched to Arch about a year and a half ago (from Fedora) and found it faster, nicer once installed (loving pacman/aur/abs) and less full of the bloat that is currently associated with the more user friendly distros... although I have quickly added a lot of my own bloat...
