At June's Upgrade! Scotland we bring together two young artists Andrew Maclean and Ewan Sinclair.  Andrew Maclean makes the technologies of communication look back at us through his work. For Upgrade! Scotland he plans to talk informally  about his past work and current project the downloadable artzine yuck 'n yum.

At our next meeting we will be taking a deeper look at functional programming (FP). The format of this session will be an open space type meeting where you set the agenda.  So, if you have any questions about FP or would like to explore any FP topics further then we'd like to hear from you.  Or, you may even want to try some FP techniques either in your favourite imperative language or with any FP language that has caught your eye.

LUG Radio Live UK 2008 will be happening on the 19th and 20th July at
the Lighthouse Media Centre in Wolverhampton. This self-styled "rock
conference" is always a-buzz with interesting ideas and is renowned for
its laid-back social atmosphere combined with a diverse range of
speakers and exhibitors.
